He has also toured two one-man shows to festivals worldwide: Diary of a Welshcake (Edinburgh Fringe First Nominee), and the award winning Madam Butterfly’s Child. Most recently he played opposite Louise Jameson in The Diva Drag (Off West End Theatre Acting Nomination / Break A Leg Best Off West Actor Nomination) was Shadwell the Sheep in Little Red in Brighton and Widow Gladys Twankey in Aladdin (Pomegranate, Chesterfield)
Film & TV credits include: On The Black Hill, Arthur’s Dyke (both for Film Four), Roman Mysteries (Series 1 & 2), Being Human, Goodbye Mr.Chips (BBC TV), Week In, Week Out (BBC Wales) and Competing to Win (OnScreen productions). He played George in the BBC Radio drama, Mr Solowei and the Unicorn.
DAME GLADYS ALLOHVER
Gladys Allohver is always Glad It’s All Over but she’s more than happy to give it her all when it’s on!
Originally appearing in panto with any Z list celebrity that would dare to share the stage with her, Gladys has now presented at weddings, birthday parties, award ceremonies, and cabarets and is always happy to oblige with a song or a glass of wine.
Her panto life included playing Ugly Sister in Cinderella, Jack’s Mother in Jack and The Beanstalk, Queen Gladys in Puss In Boots, Mother Goose, and Widow Twankey in Aladdin (most famously in The Big Top for Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds.
Gladys also featured prominently as host and waitress in Saucy Jack and The Space Vixens at The Albany Theatre, Deptford.
